Consumer fraud is a serious crime. It can be financially harmful and sometimes devastating especially
when committed against seniors. It’s estimated that five-million cases of elder financial exploitation occur annually.
In keeping with its mission to empower individuals to age with independence and dignity, ElderSource in Action, presented the
following program on WJCT to inform seniors on how to BE AWARE, BE ALERT and BE SAFE. The program which can be viewed here
