SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program of health   insurance counseling, information, and assistance. It is administered in our state by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs in association with your Aging Resource Center in northeast Florida, ElderSource.

SHINE empowers Florida’s seniors and their representatives to reach informed decisions regarding health insurance, long-term care planning and prescription assistance by offering individual counseling and group presentations. These free and unbiased services are provided through a network of volunteers who maintain and respect the privacy and personal needs of all served.
