Friends of ElderSource
Friends of ElderSource is proud to support the charitable mission of ElderSource, which is rooted in the belief of empowering individuals to age with independence and dignity, supporting caregivers and the general public. There are many opportunities for you to help us accomplish the agency mission: a major gift, planned giving, capital projects, special events and more!
If you would like to support our mission, we encourage you to join us. You can help make a difference in the lives of elders in our community by making a donation.
ElderSource has been faced with finding ways to meet the needs of the ever-growing aging community, fulfill requirements imposed by the state to meet these needs and deliver costly services without receiving additional funding from the state. To address this challenge, in 2008 the agency’s Board of Directors determined that a new business strategy was needed. The Friends of ElderSource was established as the fundraising arm for ElderSource, Inc., allowing the agency to raise discretionary funds supporting more services for seniors.
The Friends of ElderSource mission is to expand and enhance services to elders through the provision of additional resources and to improve the quality of life of elders and their caregivers through advocacy.
Inspiring the Future:
Aging is inevitable. We can choose to age alone and isolated from friends, family, even the world. Or we can choose to age with dignity and independence with friends, family and our communities.
